Unit Description:
The Senior Behavioral Health Center (SBHC) is a geriatric psychiatric/behavioral unit staffed by registered and licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, unit coordinators, nurse practitioners, social workers, occupational therapists, activity coordinators, dietitians, and a physician medical director.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric patients with psychiatric and physical co-morbidities.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Administer medications safely, including psychiatric medications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical care to patients and families.

Minimum Requirements:
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- Evidence of Continuing Education
- Previous RN experience required; Med/Surg experience preferred
- AHABLS certification required
