The Cyber Security Analyst is primarily responsible for protecting the Betfred network and systems from Internet based cyber-attacks. This involves:

  • Performing threat intelligence and research on upcoming IT trends.
  • Creating contingency plans.
  • Administering the business's cyber.
  • Ensuring that the SIEM tool is logging all available assets and tuning alerts to reduce false positives and to highlight new or additional IOC’s where available.
  • Testing the compliance and effectiveness of security controls.
  • Ensuring the business is regularly monitoring all assets for vulnerability identification and remediation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of current and new IT security technologies, breaches, and trends.
  • Experience of working with IT Service Management tools.
  • Experience working in the gaming/betting space or similar sector.
  • Knowledge of OWASP, Application Security and the principles of Secure Coding.
  • Experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge.
