The Finance Systems Administrator will provide first-line administrative and operational support to the Finance Systems team in support of all areas of the Betfred group, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of finance, HR and payroll-related systems as well as any additional integrated back office systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in administration, systems, and data accuracy, who is keen to develop experience within a Finance Systems function that supports a range of back office systems across the group. The role will support the Finance Systems Manager and Finance Systems Analysts by handling mailbox and ticket management, routine system administration, user/employee queries, and data checks.
Responsibilities- Monitor and manage the Finance Systems ticket queue and shared mailbox, ensuring queries are logged, prioritised, and dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to ResourceLink and Shopworks queries from retail administrators and internal users, escalating where appropriate.
- Create and maintain posts and background data for HR systems, in line with agreed procedures.
- Run regular and ad-hoc reports to support data audits and validation checks.
- Assist with routine system administration tasks across Finance, HR, and Payroll systems.
- Write, update, and maintain procedural guides and user documentation for Finance Systems.
- Support the wider Finance Systems team with general administrative tasks and system activities as required.
- Work collaboratively with Finance Systems Analysts to ensure accurate data and consistent system usage.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and attention to detail at all times.
