What you'll do
- Lead the delivery of tax reporting components and budgetary requirements on a timely basis.
- Review tax calculations for external reporting and internal forecasting.
- Prepare and review tax reporting documentation and evidence for US GAAP and IFRS reporting purposes (e.g., Uncertain Tax Position evidence).
- Work with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting into Group, including training and development in US GAAP reporting where applicable.
- Proactively identify and help mitigate tax risks within the Group.
- Review and communicate advice to collaborators, assisting with external reporting disclosure obligations (10K, 10Q, and IFRS tax documentation).
- Ensure adherence to SOX controlled tax reporting environment.
How you'll do it
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and tax reporting (US GAAP preferred, IFRS sufficient).
- Qualified accountant and/or tax advisor with 5+ years post‐qualification experience.
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Oracle) and tax reporting applications (e.g., Oracle EPM – Tax Reporting "TRCS").
- Experience working in a SOX internal control environment.
- Proven experience managing teams, supporting their development, and forming relationships with group auditors and finance teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast‐paced environment and embrace change.
- Great teammate who works across the business to get things done.
- Agile and flexible; learns quickly in new situations.
- Well organised, detailed, meticulous with a proactive drive for continuous improvement.
