Role Overview

We have big aspirations for our Gaming brands to continue to deliver the best player experiences within the industry. To help us do that, we’re looking for an exceptional Head of Product to play a pivotal role in shaping our Betfair International business over the next 12 months, the role being fixed term to cover maternity leave. This is a senior, high‑impact leadership role with full ownership of product strategy, product delivery and product performance. We’re looking for an experienced leader, who’s looking for that next stretch. You’ll not only lead the Product Management team, but you’ll also steer Content and Operations teams, and stretch Product Owners to give full autonomy of the end-to‑end product lifecycle, working closely with Technology and the wider business to turn insight into action and ambition into results. If you’re looking for a defining role in your career, this is an opportunity to make a real and lasting impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Supercharge Slots in Brazil, Spain and Italy, leverage the scale of the UKI Flutter platform, and drive the development of engaging cross‑sell journeys.
  • This Head‑level role manages performance and coordination across six countries/licenses and multiple organisations (including Flutter SEA, UKI and Brazil).
  • Role‑model a challenger mindset and be passionate about giving all players the best experience possible.
  • Be a collaborative, visible leader who builds trust across the product squad, technology partners and commercial stakeholders, while keeping the wider business informed and engaged.
  • Define and deliver a clear, outcome‑driven product strategy that drives revenue growth, player engagement and long‑term platform advantage.
  • Turn compliance into delight by reducing friction, maximising the positive impact of mandated changes, and working closely with Sports & Account to minimise effort to deliver.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing function, raising the bar on autonomy, accountability and product excellence.
  • Own end‑to‑end portfolio prioritisation, balancing short‑term commercial delivery with long‑term scalability.
  • Build on the Product–Technology operating model to enable autonomous squads to deliver high‑quality outcomes with minimal escalation.
  • Act as a trusted and credible partner to senior leaders, shaping investment decisions and aligning the organisation around clear priorities.
  • Champion differentiated, best‑in‑class player experiences by leveraging platform capability, scale and supplier partnerships.

What You’ll Bring

  • Passionate about Product.
  • Experience leading product organisations within complex, cross‑functional environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of commercial outcomes, not just feature delivery.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with pragmatic execution.
  • Experience operating in platform‑led or supplier‑integrated ecosystems.
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to scale teams and develop future leaders.
  • Deep comfort with data, experimentation and performance metrics.
  • High standards, resilience and a bias for action.

Essential

  • Proven experience in a Head of or Senior Manager role with operational delivery accountability.
  • Track record managing cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience coordinating across matrix organisational structures.
  • Track record building and maintaining cross‑functional relationships.

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of gaming / iGaming operations or regulated industries.
  • Experience managing operations across multiple countries or markets.
  • Experience in fast‑paced, regulated environments (gaming, financial services, or similar).
  • Familiarity with international organisational coordination.
