Job Title: In-House Counsel

Location: Manchester

Salary: £45,000-£65,000

Please note, only applications based within a 35 mile radius of Manchester will be considered.

The position:

An opportunity to work with a well-respected and established firm as In-House Counsel! Specialised in Housing and Disrepair. If you're skilled in drafting and advocacy we want to see your application.

The role:

• Review cases, conduct care assessments and develop strategies to determine the best approach.
• Drafting legal documents, preparing and drafting the Particulars of Claim and cross checking with clients and departments to ensure information is accurate.
• Analysing defenses and Counter Claims, formulating rebuttals and responding with counterarguments.
• Reviewing HDR case files.
• Provide assistance to fee earners.

The right person:

• You'll be either a qualified Grade A Solicitor or Barrister.
• Posses excellent knowledge of tenancy agreements, contract law and s9,10 & 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act.
• Advocacy experience is desired.
