Are you passionate about teaching? Do you enjoy coding, technology, or AI? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable educators to lead our after-school coding clubs.

Beta Generation Academy offers inspiring, hands-on learning experiences for children aged 5–12. Our programs introduce kids to coding, robotics, design, and the exciting world of artificial intelligence. We inspire children to learn the language of the future through creative and fun coding lessons. Led by passionate educators, we help children develop creativity, problem-solving, and confidence, building future-ready skills in a supportive, engaging environment where curiosity and innovation thrive.

Teachers must be available at least two afternoons per week, between 3pm and 5:30pm, during school term time. Clubs run across Greater London, particularly NW, SW, and Central London; willingness to travel to these areas is essential.

All lesson materials are provided. You will need to review the lesson content in advance, deliver engaging demonstrations, support children through their activities, attend online training sessions, and provide feedback to the Beta Generation team. Experience working with young children is essential. Full safeguarding training is provided.

Requirements:
  • Commit to teaching two or more afternoons per week for a full academic term (approx. 10 weeks).
  • Demonstrate experience working with children, for example as a teacher, teaching assistant, tutor, or club leader.
  • Have solid coding knowledge; experience with Scratch, Javascript, Python, Micro:Bit, and other coding platforms is highly desirable.
  • Show excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Prepare for lessons in advance, including reviewing content and loading any starter files for students.
  • Arrive on time and set up the classroom before the session begins.
  • Deliver clear, age-appropriate demonstrations and support students throughout the lesson.
  • Attend regular training sessions to ensure best practice.
  • Submit brief feedback after each club session.
  • Safeguard the children in your care always.
  • Represent the Beta Generation Academy brand positively and professionally.
