A Sports Content Supervisor, who will support the management team in the successful delivery of multi-faceted marketing campaigns.

You will lead a team of coordinators and sub editors in creating marketing content for global campaigns that align with the monthly Customer Relationship Management strategy.

You will have strong industry knowledge, outstanding attention to detail and possess the ability to work under pressure to pre-defined deadlines. You will also be responsible for setting and managing objectives for coordinators and sub editors, whilst assisting in the ongoing development of individuals within the team.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven ability in staff management with strong motivational and coaching skills.
  • High standard of written English, including the ability to proof read a diverse range of content.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, whilst working under pressure to deadlines in line with defined briefs.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests at once, whilst being resilient and responsive to change.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate, organise and develop individuals in a team environment.
  • Ability to use your initiative and lead by example with a positive attitude.
  • Good knowledge of the Company’s tools, websites, domains and operational processes is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Sports Content management team in ensuring all content is of a high standard and fulfils Business objectives, whilst adhering to Company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting and guiding a team of coordinators and sub editors in the creation of multi-faceted marketing campaigns, whilst assisting with any escalations or issues.
  • Liaising with other departments to maintain communication and continually develop working processes and relationships.
  • Overseeing the management and delivery of various time specific projects within the Sports Content department.
  • Seeking ways to improve processes by eradicating errors and improving efficiency.
  • Working with management to continuously improve and develop departmental standards in line with defined plans and briefs.
  • Understanding and coordinating all Sports promotion concepts and content.
  • Setting and managing objectives for coordinators and sub editors, assisting in the ongoing development of individuals within the team.
  • Recruiting and retaining employees to enable the department to continue to operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Liaising with multiple stakeholders across the Business.
