Who we are looking for A Software Developer, who will follow agile practices and develop high quality, scalable solutions on Linux and Cloud platforms. Working in a small team of talented developers, you will join our sports, placement and cashout team, working on our flagship sports systems and enhancing our product offering with innovative new features. You will help to deliver the best front end and user centric experience for our customers and team members. You will be exposed to challenges beyond the client facing products and have the ability to develop low latency, highly available and scalable solutions. With a solid foundation in software delivery, your technical knowledge, people skills and passion for software development will be invaluable to the success of the team. The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused Company ethos. Preferred skills and experience Commercial experience within web client or server side development. Experience working with front and backend technology. Ability to clearly communicate technical matters to people across different areas of the Business, including exposure to mentoring and leadership. Experience working with Linux. Knowledge of Typescript, Go, JavaScript, SQL, HTML5 and CSS3 and C#. Experience working in an environment with high volumes of transactions. Experience working with Scrum or other agile software development methodologies. Understanding of the development of automation and developer tooling such as Continuous Build and CI systems. Main Responsibilities Supporting and enhancing the existing code base. Maintaining clean coding practices. Identifying technical areas of improvement. Supporting product owners. Supporting the testing team, during testing phases of projects. Contributing to solution proposals. Creating work effort estimates.
