A Product Analyst, who will play a key role in determining, capturing and documenting the regulatory requirements through all phases of project delivery.

You will lead the department’s interpretation of international gambling regulatory technical specifications, particularly those around the supply of information to government bodies.

This role will require a detailed understanding of written specifications and a common understanding of team members, key stakeholders and various product teams within the Company.

Key deliverables will be comprehensive requirements documentation and decision logging, which can be worked through in conjunction with Technical Leads and other team members to produce technical solutions.

You will contribute to delivering future regulatory project and change work, alongside improving the documentation of existing systems serving current regulated markets.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Commercial experience as a Product or Business Analyst.
  • Experience of interpreting requirements from third party documentation with limited, indirect channels to the third party.
  • Experience of driving collaboration across key stakeholders, to ensure requirements are clarified, fully understood and documented.
  • Proven experience writing logical and technical documentation, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including good interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains a positive outlook whilst adapting to rapidly changing requirements.
  • Experience of working within a cross-functional delivery team utilising agile principles.
  • Collaborative nature and tenacious in seeking clarity around regulatory reporting requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reviewing international gambling regulatory requirement specifications, in order to gain a deep and wide understanding of the regulations which apply.
  • Drawing together key stakeholders to provide clarity and agreement on the interpretation of regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with and pursuing Financial, Tax and Compliance departments to resolve queries around the regulatory requirements in a timely fashion, ensuring development teams are not blocked.
  • Writing regulatory specification documents to a high standard ensuring that technical solutions can subsequently be drawn up.
  • Managing and recording of decision logs to enable a clear audit trail of key decisions.
  • Integrating into the development function, to provide a link between the key stakeholders and the technical information required by the team.
  • Understanding the existing regulatory reporting systems, both the regulatory requirements and the interpretations which have been implemented.
  • Producing and maintaining post-release documentation and change capture.
