As a Software Developer, you will work alongside a team of talented developers to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions. The Authentication and Account Management Team focuses on the customer journey into our website. The team is responsible for a range of critical systems and processes, including the creation of new accounts, authentication, and the overall login system for new and existing customers.
With a solid foundation in software development, your technical knowledge, people skills, and passion for software development will be invaluable to the success of the team. The day-to-day work is interesting, challenging, and fast-paced amidst a hardworking and delivery-focused company ethos. We hire people who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Qualifications:- Commercial experience within web client or server-side development.
- Accustomed to working with front and backend technology.
- Technically strong in Golang, C# or any other server-side language.
- Experience with responsive design, mobile and web development.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work within an evolving environment and adapt to changing business requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Experience developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
- Working in an environment with high volumes of transactions.
- Building, supporting and enhancing existing application code bases.
- Maintaining clean coding practices.
- Identifying technical areas of improvement.
- Supporting Product Owners as required.
- Assisting with testing phases of projects.
- Contributing to solution proposals.
- Creating work effort estimates.
