Job Description
Who we are looking for
A Maintenance Engineer specialising in plumbing and heating to manage and maintain these services and systems at our offices in Stoke-on-Trent and other sites within the property portfolio.
You will be experienced working in a variety of large commercial and residential buildings, working as part of a small team. The successful applicant will demonstrate a can do attitude.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ level 3 certificate in Mechanical Engineering Services Plumbing.
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating (Gas Fired Water & Central Heating Appliances) 600/1134/8 (6189-33).
- CENWAT Certification and CCN 1 (Domestic) Gas Safe Certificate.
- Knowledge of LEV systems is beneficial.
- DNCO1 – Domestic to Commercial Natural Gas.
- Certified in Unvented Heating systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting installations, fault finding, and repairs.
- Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with electronic test equipment.
- Ability to follow work instructions, read and interpret technical diagrams whilst reporting technical information as required.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Carrying out maintenance routines.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on a wide variety of plant including Water Heaters, Calorifiers, Motors, Circulating Heating pumps, Vented & Unvented Systems, Boilers, fans, drives, ground and air source heating systems. Additional responsibilities for Water temperature monitoring
- Ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and coordinated with the project delivery team.
- Ensuring sites are maintained in a clean manner at all times.
- Producing, managing and maintaining critical spares lists.
