The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of our testing regime across all sites with the property portfolio. You will be passionate about ensuring the safety and compliance of portable electrical equipment.
You will be conducting in-service inspections and testing of electrical equipment (PAT), maintaining a safe working environment, and producing results that meet the latest IET Code of Practice standards. You will be required to work any five days from seven, which may on occasion include weekends or night shifts. If successful you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from your first day of employment.
Preferred skills and experience:- Certified in or working towards, City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate for In-Service Inspections and Testing of Electrical Equipment (2377).
- Certified in or working towards, City and Guilds – Basic Electrical Maintenance course.
- Certified in or working towards, Electrical Safe Isolation training.
- Excellent IT skills and experience of working with electronic systems and Microsoft packages.
- Familiar with PAT testing equipment, software and record management.
- Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.
- Ability to plan and prioritise tasks with a flexible approach to working.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
- Undertaking In-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT) in accordance with the current edition of the IET Code of Practice.
- Producing results in a timely manner which meet the requirements and quality standards of external accrediting bodies.
- Adhering to Company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Acting with integrity and professionalism in all communications with internal customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Keeping up to date with all changes and amendments of standards, regulations and best practice within the industry.
