Who we are looking for
An iOS Mobile Application Developer, who will be part of the team developing our FollowScores app.
FollowScores is a new football scores app and our goal is to continue growing the userbase over the coming years, introducing new and innovative features as part of it is development roadmap.
Working in the FollowScores product space, you will be working alongside a growing team of talented engineers, building upon the Swift codebase to implement new features through the software development lifecycle.
You will work collaboratively with the Product Manager, Technical Lead, Testers and Team Lead to ensure high quality delivery through to the Google Play Store. This includes feature development, issue resolution, performance improvements, production tooling and automation.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in developing scalable applications using Swift.
- Proven work experience with modern iOS libraries and APIs.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge and experience with unit and UI testing frameworks.
- Understanding of basic source control concepts and tooling.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Ability with debugging tools to address memory and performance issues.
- Excellent communicator and team player.
- Experience with Swift UI preferred but not required.
Main Responsibilities
- Designing and developing complex feature rich applications for the iOS platform.
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring adequate development testing.
- Implementing unit tests to improve and maintain app quality.
- Contributing to ever improving codebases and processes.
- Aligning and iterating on the existing coding patterns.
- Collaborating across various delivery functions such as design, test and product.
