Who we are looking for
A proactive Data/Systems HR Officer ready to support our HR function with accurate data and efficient systems, enabling us to better serve our employees.
As the Data/Systems HR Officer, you will be a key player in maintaining the integrity of our HR data and systems, assisting with the smooth operation of our HR processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all HR functions, supporting the delivery of our people strategy.
You will manage data inputs, generate reports, and maintain our HR systems, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
Partnering with the broader HR and Payroll teams, you will play a key role in championing the accurate and efficient management of employee data, supporting our commitment to compliance and data protection.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience in data entry, data management, and report generation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including data manipulation and formula creation).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as Dayforce is desirable.
• Basic understanding of data protection principles.
• Experience working with large datasets.
Main Responsibilities
• Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of employee data within HR systems.
• Supporting structural changes in Dayforce, including data imports and stakeholder communication.
• Generating and distributing regular and ad-hoc HR reports to the business.
• Providing data for National Statistics audits and surveys.
• Maintaining and updating content on Sharepoint HR Portal, including the Employee Handbook.
• Providing accurate and timely data to the HR and Payroll teams.
• Assisting with data cleansing and data quality initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
• Uploading employee data into internal and external systems (e.g. Reward Gateway).
• Identifying and deleting leavers' records in accordance with the Data Retention Policy.
