The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Malta and Gibraltar financial operations, overseeing the preparation and review of the Management and Statutory Accounts for those entities. You will be instrumental in building and strengthening the team, focusing on strategic development and maintaining robust control and governance of processes to produce high quality information. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with stakeholders and challenge processes. Working with internal and external stakeholders you will assess the impact of new regulatory requirements and develop an approach that ensures these are met. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy. Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing the Groups Management Accounting Function ensuring compliance with internal and external timetables.
  • Developing a consistent review process whilst ensuring the highest level of data integrity.
  • Building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to assess and fulfill reporting requirements.
  • Performing Balance Sheet reviews and reporting on high level risks and opportunities to Senior Management.

The skills and experience to help you perform in the role

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team of finance professionals, including objective setting, appraisals, resource planning etc.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail with the desire to develop and improve systems and processes.
  • Flexible, proactive and self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
