A Facilities Chaperone who will be responsible for escorting external building contractors around the site whilst they undertake maintenance and repair work.
You will be primarily working as a chaperone for external engineers ensuring all health and safety procedures are complied with, assisting with facilities related tasks in the warehouse when time allows., Greeting engineers upon arrival on site either independently or alongside a Project or Engineering Manager.
Ensuring relevant documentation such as Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) are completed, signed and adhered to at all times by the responsible person.
Delivering site inductions covering all relevant Health and Safety procedures ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Understanding of workplace policies and external supplier or manufacturer instructions for the safe use and maintenance of tools, plant and equipment.
Unloading and loading large deliveries.
Assisting with the movement of equipment.
Helping Engineer’s with facilities-related tasks.
