Who we are looking for

As an eLearning Designer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and impactful learning experiences, through the creation of visually rich videos and interactive materials to support the achievement of organisational goals and continued growth of the Company.

Reporting directly to the e-Learning Project Lead, you will create high quality and bespoke eLearning content, incorporating best practices from learning theory, instructional design frameworks and current trends in corporate digital learning provision.

This will involve utilising photography, iconography, visual text, audio narration, and background music to deliver compelling content. You will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and experience in developing both video-based and interactive eLearning modules.

Aligning with the creation of bespoke eLearning content, you will be comfortable using a variety of authoring tools like Adobe Captivate and Camtasia, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for asset creation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you\’ll be working closely with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to bring learning objectives to life.

The position is initially office based, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working model.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive experience developing corporate eLearning in tools such as Captivate and Camtasia.
  • Comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud, notably Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience in developing and deploying eLearning interventions through a Learning Management System.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of comfort in a collaborative, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience of working in the gambling industry would be advantageous.
  • Ability to demonstrate previous experience in the creation of eLearning.
  • Highly motivated to work in a collaborative creative space.

Main Responsibilities

  • Working with Subject Matter Experts to acquire and translate written content into engaging visual and interactive eLearning for the Business.
  • Supporting the management of digital learning projects through their entire life cycle.
  • Designing eLearning interventions and producing materials in accordance with the needs of the department and stakeholders.
  • Establishing and strengthening effective relationships to support the departmental collaborative approach to learning and development and ensure the best outcome for the learner.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing eLearning and materials.
  • Conducting effective design practices on multiple digital learning projects simultaneously.
  • Making confident recommendations for change to key stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in digital learning and technology and continuously exploring new ways to enhance the learning experience.
