We are an established steel fabrication and welding company supplying structural steelwork to the construction industry. Due to business growth, we are looking to appoint a Junior Business Development Executive to help increase our monthly steel fabrication volumes. The role focuses on generating new enquiries, securing fabrication orders, and building long-term client relationships. Performance will be measured by the tonnage of steel secured per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and contact new clients (contractors, builders, steelwork firms)
- Generate enquiries and secure fabrication orders
- Build and manage a sales pipeline
- Attend client meetings and occasional site visits
- Work closely with management and production teams
- Achieve agreed monthly tonnage targets
About You
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
