About the role We're looking for a Pricing Controller to own and evolve our pricing and promotions strategy, working cross-functionally with the Category, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and IT teams. Serving over 12 million customers and employing over 28,000 individuals, the Group supports and serves communities through its operations across the UK, Pakistan and the Middle East Responsibilities: Lead cross‑functional pricing governance with Category, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial teams. Partner with Category Leads to set pricing, promotions, KVIs, and vendor‑funded events. Collaborate with Finance to validate margin, forecast impacts, scenario‑model pricing actions. Work with Data & Analytics/BI teams to improve reporting, models and measurement tools. Engage Supply Chain on availability risks when planning promotions. Provide leadership, mentoring and development to Pricing Analysts. Build a strong pricing culture with coaching, upskilling and structured review processes. Represent Pricing in cross‑functional steering groups and trading meetings. Lead change management for new pricing tools and processes. Drive continuous improvement in measurement, elasticity modelling and promo ROI. The Ideal Candidate: Experience:
Minimum 7+ years in pricing, commercial, or analytical roles. Background in PE firms, Retail and/or Food/CPG suppliers. Education:
