Early learning / kĹhanga reo, Certificated teacher. Passionate ECE leader wanted to guide our Pohutukawa room and support tamariki to grow, learn, and thrive at BestStart Redwood. BestStart Redwood is seeking an inspiring, experienced qualified and registered Teacher to step into the role of head teacher in our Pohutukawa room, supporting our curious and capable 2â3.5âyearâolds. About the role: This is a permanent, fullâtime (40 hours, MondayâFriday) leadership position. Our Pohutukawa room supports tamariki as they develop communication skills, build relationships, and grow their confidence as lifelong learners. Youâll lead a passionate team of kaiako committed to responsive practice and meaningful, intentional teaching.
What weâre looking for: A natural leader with proven ECE leadership experience and a strong commitment to highâquality teaching and learning. You will bring:
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current certification
- Strong knowledge of planning, assessment, and pedagogy
- A deep understanding of Te WhÄriki and ECE regulations
- A commitment to quality practice and continuous improvement
- The ability to inspire, guide, and support kaiako
