Job Summary: As a PPM Consultant / Account Manager, you will play a dual role of being a trusted advisor and account manager for our clients. You will be responsible for understanding clients’ business needs, providing expert guidance on our suite of proprietary Project Portfolio Management software, centring on PM3 which has been implemented at a number of the UK’s leading organisations and ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of our products. Your ability to build strong client relationships and deliver tailored PPM solutions will be key to achieving high levels of client satisfaction and driving business growth. You will also be managing a number of our existing client accounts. We offer a competitive salary and a discretionary performance-based bonus. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding PPM solutions and services. Consultative Sales & Upselling: Identify opportunities to expand the scope of services provided to existing clients by understanding their evolving needs. Proactively recommend enhancements, additional modules, or training services to improve their PPM capabilities. Solution Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their project management challenges, business objectives, and operational processes. Provide expert guidance on how to leverage our PPM solutions to address their specific needs. Project Oversight: Lead implementations and PMO consultancy of PPM solutions for clients, coordinating with internal technical teams and consultants to ensure timely delivery and successful configuration of PPM software. Account Growth & Retention: Working closely with the support team to provide post-sales consultancy and support and manage a number of existing accounts and develop and execute account management plans to drive client retention and satisfaction. Focus on maintaining a high renewal rate by ensuring clients see ongoing value in our PPM solutions. Training & Support: Develop training and presentation content and deliver client training sessions, webinars, and workshops to ensure clients can effectively use our PPM tools. Offer postimplementation support and best practices to maximize their ROI. Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, software adoption, and account growth. Use data insights to adjust account strategies and enhance service delivery. Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from clients regarding their experience with our PPM solutions. Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to refine and improve product features and functionalities based on client needs and test new releases prior to releasing to clients. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular account reviews, status reports, and forecasts for internal stakeholders. Document client interactions, key discussions, and action items in CRM systems. Key Qualifications / Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience in account management, consulting, or project management, with a strong focus on Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions. Prior Knowledge of project planning software and / or PPM solutions would be an advantage. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PPM software, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and a solid understanding of project lifecycle management. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus. Strong knowledge PMO processes, project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Excellent command of English – both written and spoken. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into client-friendly language. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset. Certifications: Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or PPM software-specific certifications are a strong advantage. Personality: A confident and dynamic personality with strong communication and presentation skills is highly desirable and eager to expand your knowledge about Project, Programme and Portfolio management.
