Job Overview: Here at BestOdds, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our Sportsbook team. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Risk Management within sports betting as well as be flexible working within a small team and assisting with other tasks. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for working with our Platform provider to manage and maintain the customer base and profiling. The successful candidate will also be able to utilise data to closely monitor critical metrics on our brand whilst working to ensure a smooth customer experience. The ideal candidate will be an individual who can work within a start-up mentality, be proactive and want to constantly learn on the job.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of the Risk Management strategy and processes.
- Liaise and work with our Platform provider to ensure risk management and client profiling is completed to the necessary standards.
- Manage the relationship with our Platform provider from a Risk Management perspective.
- Monitor and analyze customer activity, identify trends and propose future improvements.
- Collaborate within the Sportsbook team to understand their needs and provide actionable insights to help with overall margin, acquisitions and retention.
- Closely monitor overall business performance.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling through analysis of customer data and interactions.
- Assist the Sportsbook team with day to day tasks as and when required.
About You:
- A strong passion and knowledge of Sports Betting and Risk Management.
- Good knowledge and interest in sports in general.
- At least two years experience in a similar role is required.
- A high level of numerical and analytical skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- A versatile approach to the role, assisting other areas of the business if needed.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
- Willing to work shift patterns including evenings and weekends.
