Bestman Solutions is working with a cyber organisation seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst. As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats. You will be part of a highly supportive team and you will work under a mentor with 20 years in cyber security. You will also have the opportunity to work within their development team and be trained in programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Threat Intelligence Gathering: Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack patterns.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze threat data to create timely and accurate intelligence reports that provide insights into potential risks and recommendations for mitigation.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor threat landscapes, industry trends, and emerging threat actors to keep our clients informed of potential risks.
  • Incident Response Support: Collaborate with incident response teams to provide intelligence support during security incidents and assist in rapid threat containment.
  • Security Awareness: Share threat intelligence insights with internal teams and clients to enhance their security posture and incident response preparedness.
  • Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Threat Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role within the cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threat landscapes, and attack methodologies.
  • A team player, someone who will keep at it until the job is done.
  • The role is ideal for someone who is eager to be trained and to learn.
