Job description: Oversee the various metrics in the risk appetite statement to pick up issues and trends. Analyze data to understand changes in market and credit risk exposures. Build dashboards to assist with this if appropriate. Keep abreast of current and emerging risks and write a semi-annual paper describing these. This also requires gathering information from subject matter experts across the business. Keep abreast of best practice methodologies for measuring risks, keeping in mind the effect this has on how we manage capital. Be responsible for the Group\’s Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Statement. Keep in touch with new projects within the Group and their associated risks and capital requirements. This requires developing relationships with people in other teams and divisions.
