Duty Manager

Best Western Plus Ullesthorpe Court Hotel is a four-star hotel featuring 72 bedrooms, leisure and golf facilities, and versatile banqueting and conference spaces for up to 150 guests. We are committed to providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to join our team at Best Western Plus Ullesthorpe Court Hotel in Ullesthorpe. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our hotel while upholding our commitment to excellent guest service and hospitality. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our high standards and enhancing guest satisfaction. Hours are either 06:30 - 15:00 (Early shift) or 14:30 - 22:30 (Late shift).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage staff during shifts, fostering a positive work environment.
• Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of service quality across all areas of the hotel.
• Assist in training new staff members on hotel policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports on operational performance for management review.

Requirements

• Strong background in guest services and hospitality management.
• Proven supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Familiarity with human resources practices is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Experience:
