While most guests are fast asleep, the Hotel Night Porter at the Best Western Carlton Hotel looks after their safety and security, gets our beachfront hotel ready for the day ahead and makes a start on the all-important breakfast preparations.

You will typically be working 4 nights on and 4 nights off during the hours 11pm-7.30am.
Known as a Guest Service Assistant, you will support the team and guests at our busy hotel in this holiday hotspot. As well as looking after the security of the building, you\’ll also be the friendly face of the hotel, assisting guests and providing great customer service, serving in the late bar and helping with preparing early breakfast. You\’ll need to be a confident communicator, well-organised, reliable and a night owl
We\’re looking for something with a minimum of one year\’s front-of-house experience in hotels or hospitality, perhaps as a Night Porter. As a night shift worker, you will be working solo or in a small team so you\’ll need to be trustworthy and able to use your initiative and multi-tasking skills.
