We are recruiting on behalf of our Client an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver with valid Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance forklift licences to join a busy and well-established distribution warehouse in Newbury. Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately
- Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely
- Goods in / goods out processing within a busy warehouse environment
- Labelling, scanning, and updating warehouse management systems
- Identifying and reporting damaged or missing stock
- Maintaining health & safety standards in the warehouse
- Supporting general warehouse duties and logistics operations
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Worker / Picker Packer
- Valid Reach Truck Forklift Licence and/or Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Experience operating warehouse equipment and forklift trucks
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution / logistics environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in order picking
- Team player with a reliable and hardworking attitude
Desirable Skills
- PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) licence
- Experience in logistics, distribution, or fulfilment centres
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
