We're currently hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client, a leading name in the film and television sector near Chertsey. This role offers the chance to work in a one-of-a-kind industry, transporting specialist facility vehicles and trailers to production sets across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive and operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to deliver and collect trailers and production support vehicles
- Travel nationwide to film and TV sets, ensuring deliveries arrive safely and on time
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, keeping safety and compliance a top priority
- Maintain a professional standard of vehicle presentation at all times
- Adapt to flexible schedules, including some evening and weekend work, to meet filming requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV driving experience (industry-specific experience a bonus, not essential)
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and working hours
- Reliable, professional, and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to travel and adjust to varied working hours
