Best Time Ltd is currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) Drivers to support our client in Basingstoke. This opportunity is available within retail distribution, store deliveries. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) vehicles
- Complete deliveries and collections in accordance with client requirements
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
- Adhere to all road transport, health and safety, and company procedures
Requirements
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD)
- Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns
- Successful completion of driving assessment and induction required
