  • 40 hour working week (8am‑6pm 4 days per week and a half day off each week)

Day to day: We are looking for an experienced and dedicated room leader to join our team. Providing a safe and stimulating environment for children, which is nurturing and positive. To develop individual plans for each child, working in partnership with parents and sharing their child’s progress. Plan and implement activities that are suitable for the age and stage of development of the children. Encourage positive behaviour and be a role model to all. As a room leader you must have excellent communication skills and have a passion for working with children. Helping with the senior management team in the nursery.

  • Experience working with young children
  • A Relevant Early Years Qualification L3 or higher
  • Good understanding of Safeguarding and the Learning and Development requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Previous professional experience working with 0‑5 year olds, baby room experience and hold relevant level 3 qualification in early years
