Job Description:
Would you like to work alongside a team of supportive and dedicated early years practitioners? This Nursery is looking to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. Our setting has an excellent reputation within the community, with a friendly and caring team. We are committed to providing the best care for children, and a fun and exciting environment to support them in their next steps of development. The Nursery is housed under two small railway arches, set in the vibrant East End and only a stone’s throw away from Epping Forest. We’re open 48 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday from 8am - 5.45pm.
The Role:
- To be responsible for the delivery of our curriculum, vision, and ethos.
- Deliver outstanding practice, high quality observations and planning that's tailored to each individual child.
- To provide a safe and nurturing environment and stimulating experiences for the children.
- To develop children’s confidence in their emerging abilities and provide opportunities for children to perform tasks independently.
- To provide lots of opportunities for language rich play and support children with their social interactions and how to manage their feelings and emotions.
- Proactively contribute new ideas to continually improve ways of working.
- Adhere to the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding practices in day to day practice.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with the children, parents and team members.
- To be committed to reflective practice and continual professional development.
