Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9/9:30am – 1/1:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals in line with the nursery’s four-week menu.
- Ensure all children’s dietary needs and allergies are safely catered for.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness, following Safer Food Better Business guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels, check food deliveries, and ensure correct food storage.
- Complete all required food safety checks and records.
Main Tasks:
- Follow daily kitchen routines, including cleaning schedules and temperature checks.
- Rotate stock, check use-by dates, and minimise food waste.
- Present meals in an appetising way that supports children’s independence.
- Prepare food for afternoon tea and support mealtime setup when required.
- Ensure all equipment and appliances are used safely and kept in good working order.
This is a part-time Nursery Cook role suited to someone organised, reliable, and passionate about preparing healthy meals for children.
