This is a 13-month maternity cover opportunity to join a family-owned business that truly puts our people first. The role start date is 4th August 2026. We are looking for a PEOPLE Advisor to support colleagues across our Retail and Wholesale teams (JACK & JONES, ONLY, BESTSELLER Wholesale and ALIGNE), acting as a key point of contact across all areas of PEOPLE, with a focus on front-line support, talent acquisition and employee relations.

We are a small but mighty team of four PEOPLE generalists who pride ourselves on getting stuck in and meeting our team ambitions. We include our Head of PEOPLE, Retail Business Partner, Office Business Partner and PEOPLE Coordinator. We thrive as a team by having a shared goal to create a fantastic experience for our talented colleagues at BESTSELLER.

Your Role
- Provide first-line PEOPLE support, responding to queries and advising managers on day-to-day matters and ER cases
- Support and coach managers to build capability and confidence in PEOPLE processes
- Manage and maintain accurate colleague records and continuously look for ways to improve and simplify processes
- Support end-to-end administration across the employee lifecycle, including documentation, GDPR and policy updates
- Lead and coordinate recruitment activity, from advertising roles through to onboarding and probation
- Support with the full joiner and leaver process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Support delivery of key PEOPLE processes, including performance reviews, engagement surveys and development initiatives
- Contribute to wellbeing, DEI and other local and global PEOPLE initiatives and projects
