Our scientific instruments client is seeking a Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive a global sales strategy using strategic and commercial leadership.
- Drive sales performance and profitability in international branches, and drive sales and market expansion in local (and diversified) sales divisions.
- Collaborate with the Board to make high-level commercial decisions.
- Develop and manage annual sales forecasts, strategic plans and budgets with regional teams and hold full turnover and P&L responsibility.
- Set and monitor lead generation and sales targets with the Marketing.
- Conduct commercial performance analysis and implement strategies to maximise turnover and profitability.
- Oversee commercial product management.
- Lead 6 senior country managers and oversee 40+ international sales.
- Oversee international trade show participation and industry events.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experienced Sales Director or Senior Sales Leader in a technical organisation.
- 10+ years of experience in the scientific instruments industry.
- Strong track record in managing international sales teams and export operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Happy to travel internationally on a monthly basis.
