Job summary.

In this pivotal role, you will work autonomously under the supervision of a GP, providing high‐quality clinical care and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, addressing acute and chronic health issues.
  • Perform procedures within the scope of practice, such as wound care, minor surgical interventions, and immunizations.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including diagnosing and treating common and complex medical conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.

  • Current registration with the UK Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA) or equivalent professional body.
