The Thrive Trainer is responsible for delivering Thrive training programmes to a consistently high standard across contracts and the wider network, both virtually and in person. The role plays a key part in maintaining quality and consistency by modelling best practice, supporting the development of trainers, and contributing to quality assurance and compliance processes. The post holder will also support customers in effectively embedding the Thrive approach following training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery
- Deliver high-quality Thrive training sessions, workshops and seminars (virtual and in-person)
- Ensure delivery aligns with Thrive methodology and standards
- Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of different audiences
- Content Development
- Contribute to the review, update and continuous improvement of training materials, slide decks and resources
- Support the development of relevant and effective course content in line with organisational direction
- Trainer Licensing & Development
- Support the licensing process for new and returning trainers
- Provide guidance on expectations, updates to materials and ways of working
- Mentor and coach trainers to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery
- Implementation Support
- Provide post-training implementation support to customers
- Deliver enablement sessions and reinforce best practice
- Support customers to embed Thrive effectively within their settings

- Quality Assurance (QA)
- Monitor and improve training quality through observation, feedback and standardised checks

- Deliver modelled sessions for Train the Trainer (TTT) programmes
- Provide mentoring and coaching for trainers where required
- Lead supervision, support and advice sessions in line with agreed frameworks
- Network & Engagement
- Deliver training across multiple sites, regions and partner networks
- Lead network events and CPD sessions, including guest speaker sessions
- Contribute to webinars and digital thought leadership activity
- Administration & Coordination
- Support Ambassador School and School of Excellence processes, including evaluations and record keeping
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to training delivery, QA and compliance

Person Specification:
- Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a training or facilitation role
- Proven experience delivering structured learning programmes (virtual and/or in-person)
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt delivery to a range of audiences
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Zoom/Teams, PowerPoint and basic LMS platforms
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
- Evidence-based approach to improving learning quality
- Experience in education, learning facilitation or trauma-informed/attachment-based approaches
- Desirable
- Experience within education, public sector or multi-site environments
- Train the Trainer or coaching experience
- Experience supporting implementation or organisational change
