About the Role: This role involves planning, coordinating, mentoring, and supporting training and assessment for apprentices in teaching support roles, such as Teaching Assistant Level 3, Specialist Teaching Assistant Level 5, and Operations Management Level 5. The candidate will share their knowledge and experience from the school sector to ensure apprentices achieve their qualifications efficiently and to a high standard.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessment: Conduct skills reviews, identify gaps, develop training plans, maintain records, observe in the workplace, support high-quality training, assess skills and behaviours, and provide feedback via ePortfolio system.
- Training: Create tailored action plans, deliver training using approved resources, support English and Maths qualifications, provide tutorial support on safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, mental health, and online safety, and deliver online classroom sessions.
- Coordination and Support: Monitor progress, support portfolio completion, manage records, liaise with managers, provide data, facilitate reviews and appraisals, and support the end-point assessment process.
- Administration: Complete documentation for candidate onboarding, progress tracking, visits, reviews, assessments, and ensure timely achievement of qualifications.
- Other: Perform additional duties as required, promote equality and diversity, and support safeguarding initiatives.

Essential Criteria:
- Level 5 qualification or 2+ years' experience as a teacher or Teaching Assistant
- Up-to-date industry knowledge
- Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications
- Experience working with employers in training or customer relations
- Ability to develop strong relationships with employers and learners
- Strong IT skills and willingness to work with e-portfolios
- Motivation to support learner completion
- Full driving license, own vehicle, and willingness to travel
- High motivation, empathy, and initiative
