As an EYITT Trainee, you will:

  • Support children's learning and development across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote children's progress
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and learning outcomes
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
  • Promote inclusive practice and ensure every child can reach their full potential
  • Contribute to learning journals, assessments, and developmental records
  • Assist with daily nursery routines and ensure children's wellbeing is prioritised
  • Work alongside experienced practitioners and teachers to develop your teaching practice
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to become a qualified Early Years Teacher? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYITT Trainee to join our nursery team in Bristol while working towards Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (in any subject)
  • GCSE English Language Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
  • GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
  • GCSE Science Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)

  • Applicants who are not UK nationals must meet apprenticeship funding eligibility rules, including having lived in the UK or EU for at least 3 consecutive years prior to the start date.
  • You must hold a valid visa that does not expire within 18 months of your apprenticeship start date.
