We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring apprentice to join our team.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ambitious and want to gain playworker qualification while getting experience.
You'll create meaningful relationships with the children, your team and with the parents.- 32.15 hours per week, Β£12.85ph, Lunch Break. Purpose of the role
- To support teachers and the wider Inclusion Team in providing high-quality learning andpastoral support to students across South Molton Community College, whilstcompleting the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard. The post holder will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become aqualified Teaching Assistant through a combination of practical experience, mentoringand off-the-job training. Supporting Students Support students individually and in small groups during lessons.
Help students access learning activities and remain engaged.
Encourage independence, confidence and resilience.
Support students with SEND, SEMH and additional needs.
Promote positive behaviour using school behaviour systems.
Supervise students safely during learning activities.
Support emotional wellbeing where appropriate.
Support with after school homework club. Supporting Teaching and Learning Prepare individualised classroom and learning resources.
