We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and overseeing the performance of multiple teams in order to hit company annual targets. Additionally, you will develop and implement effective sales strategies. You will need to be comfortable setting monthly and quarterly sales targets and effectively driving the teams to achieve. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain long-term customer relationships. To excel in this position, you should demonstrate strong networking and negotiation abilities. Moreover, good leadership and decision-making skills are crucial. Your capability to perform under pressure and manage stressful situations will be an added advantage.

Business Support

  • Build highly effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about company policies and recruitment strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced approaches.
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI, CCRM, and SPIRIT to create meaningful reports and data that support the department and highlight our status to stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members.
  • Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to proactively seek new partner organizations and opportunities, expanding the program's offerings.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

  • Proven track record of managing the sales process from planning to closing.

  • Maintain the internal CRM system by keeping it up to date and documenting sales pipelines and personal performance.
  • Achieve personal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent time management skills to maximize the ability to reach goals.
  • Skilled in identifying, recruiting, and hiring talented salespeople.
  • Consistently meet and exceed personal and team targets.

Personal Specification

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Professional demeanor with proven experience in sales, recruitment, or apprenticeships.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively address issues as they arise.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience using databases.
  • Open to change and actively seeking ways to improve processes and team outputs.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship programs is required.
  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional sales, marketing, and networking skills.
  • Tenacious and confident, with a goal-driven approach.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
