Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals to develop skills in tutoring, mentoring, and supporting children, particularly those with special educational needs, including autism. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow while making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
35 hours per week – Level 3 TA -SEN experience is a MUST
– Some work within the unit for children with EHCPs
– Upholding the schools Christian values
– Strong subject knowledge, interest in phonics would be great
– Dynamic and proactive and working on their own initiative
– Experience of working in primary would be incredible

Responsibilities
• Assist in educating and tutoring children, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive academically.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum, employing tailored strategies to enhance their learning experience.
• Participate in mentoring activities, providing guidance and encouragement to students.
• Support special education initiatives by helping to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge in special education practices.

Other Requirements
• You must be a UK resident and have at least 3 years residency in the UK/EU
• If you require a Visa, this must not expire before the apprenticeship end date (up to 24 months).
• GCSEs in English and maths at Grade C (4) or above or able to achieve Level 2 English and maths whilst on programme
