Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential? This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in education while gaining a nationally recognised qualification all while working full time in a supportive school environment.
We are working in partnership with Bishop Lonsdale Primary Academy to recruit a Level 3 or 5 Teaching Assistant Apprentice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support pupils with SEN in the classroom and small groups.
- Help teachers deliver inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
- Promote inclusion and a supportive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.
Apprenticeship Details
- Hours: (8.15am-3.45pm) / Term time only
- Duration: Approximately 18 months with EPA
- Salary: £7.55 per hour for the first 12 months (apprentice wage) and National Minimum Wage thereafter.
