About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Swedish Payroll Specialist to join our client's dynamic payroll team remotely, with occasional travel to Darlington. This temporary position offers a competitive premium rate of £30.00 per hour and has strong potential to transition into a permanent role.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Swedish, with professional proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Deep understanding of Swedish payroll legislation and employment laws.
- Experience with SAP payroll processing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Darlington and Germany.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately for multiple Swedish sites, adhering to local legal requirements and internal SOx controls.
- Maintain and update payroll documentation, workflow manuals, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Establish and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and authorities, addressing queries related to tax, social security, insurance, and audits.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing payroll processes and internal workflows.
- Attend virtual and in-person meetings as needed, providing expert support on payroll-related matters in Sweden and other locations.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll data and reporting, maintaining high accuracy and confidentiality standards.
