We are currently looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurses to join friendly and supportive nursery and early years settings across Bradford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and helping them develop in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0–5.
  • Support children’s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
  • Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children and their families.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, physical and educational development.
  • Assist with observations, assessments and children’s learning records.
  • Encourage children’s confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Support children’s personal care needs, including mealtimes, toileting and hygiene where required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
  • Work closely with other nursery staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Previous experience working in a nursery, childcare or early years environment.
  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification is desirable.
  • A warm, caring and patient approach to working with children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • The ability to create positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • An enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
