Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming setting in the BD17 area of Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will support the learning, development and wellbeing of young children within an Early Years environment. You will help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing setting where children can develop their confidence, social skills and independence through play-based learning and engaging activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Encourage children’s learning and development through play-based experiences.
- Support children’s communication, language and social development.
- Assist with observations and assessments to monitor children’s progress.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
- Support daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within an Early Years or childcare setting.
- A relevant Early Years qualification is desirable.
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
- Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS is essential.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
