We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming nursery or early years setting in Bradford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children’s development and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will

  • Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0–5.
  • Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences.
  • Encourage children’s social, emotional, physical and educational development.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Support children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning records and assessments.
  • Support children’s personal care needs where required.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote children’s confidence and independence.
  • Work as part of a supportive early years team.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Previous experience working with children in an early years, nursery or childcare setting.
  • A relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3, is desirable.
  • A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • An enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
