We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming nursery or early years setting in Bradford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children’s development and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will
- Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0–5.
- Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, physical and educational development.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Support children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning records and assessments.
- Support children’s personal care needs where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote children’s confidence and independence.
- Work as part of a supportive early years team.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have
- Previous experience working with children in an early years, nursery or childcare setting.
- A relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3, is desirable.
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- An enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
