Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming school in the BD17 area of Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher seeking a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to pupils across Key Stage 2, supporting their academic progress, personal development and confidence. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Teach and assess pupils across the primary age range.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and pupil engagement.
- Differentiate lessons to support pupils of varying abilities.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach.
- An Enhanced DBS is essential.
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
