Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a motivated and resilient Humanities Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Leeds. You will play a vital role in supporting students who may have experienced difficulties in mainstream education, helping them to re-engage with learning and achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, supportive setting where you can make a real difference to young people’s lives. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Humanities lessons (History, Geography, RE) tailored to the individual needs of students in a PRU environment. * Support students with challenging behaviour, learning difficulties, or emotional needs by creating a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere. * Collaborate with the pastoral and support staff to develop individual learning plans for each student. * Implement behaviour management strategies and promote positive behaviour in line with the school's policies. * Track and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and working closely with colleagues to ensure effective learning. * Build strong relationships with students, parents/carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for each learner.
