  • Create and distribute detailed, accurate reports to customers and internally.
  • Make recommendations for capital investments that will save energy - ie. ECMs (Energy Conservation Measures) - and justify these with data-led business cases.
  • Consult on the optimisation of current systems, including BMS, to optimise energy performance at client facilities.
  • Recommend changes in customer and staff behaviour to save energy, whilst maintaining standards.
  • Create, monitor and respond to digital alarms alerting to specific behaviour or circumstances to ensure ECMs are being followed, energy is being saved and customer business is not impacted.
  • Clearly communicate with clients, ensuring expectations are met and issues resolved promptly and thoroughly.
  • Lead meetings and provide clarity in a complicated subject area.
  • Work closely with the Data and Support Teams, to ensure a cohesive service to all clients.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites across the UK to conduct energy audits and provide on-site support.

Your Skills

  • Energy management experience across a broad range of sectors.
  • Customer facing skills, confident communication via video call, telephone and face to face.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and/or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to analyse and manipulate data.
  • Auditing experience, particularly the identification of suitable optimisations and ECMs.

Useful experience and qualifications

  • ESOS Lead Assessor
  • CEMM&V qualifications and experience
  • IPMVP familiarity and experience
